SAILING AROUND THE WORLD WITH SPIRIT OF ARGO

BVIs – Pelican Island (Diving on the Indians) and Norman Island (Benures Bay)

We heard friends of ours on the boat ‘Wandering Star’ (see links) were anchored up in Benures Bay on Norman Island, so we thought we would catch up with them.  Before going there we decided to stop off at the Indians for a dive.

NORMAN ISLAND, BENURES BAY

After the dive we headed over to Benures Bay on Norman Island to join friends.

The bay had clear water for some good snorkelling off the rocks, but the beach was a ‘little stony’ for my liking.

We could not stay long, but we did hear about and see the trail head for some great hiking on the Island.  We would also have liked to visit the famous Treasure Point caves (See historical notes for Peter Island).

But we have company coming again and we need to make our way west to towards the USVIs (United States Virgin Islands).

With very settled weather forecast, this should not be a problem!
